Research in Motion has told the world that it plans on developing a next-generation touchscreen Blackberry like the popular Storm. "We see this very large and untapped consumer market," Jim Balsillie said during a presentation to analysts and investors, adding that more than half of RIM's 25 million subscribers now fall into the non-corporate category. Balsillie said Storm sales remain strong and added "we have next-generation devices with that and the whole roadmap." As the world turns we wait and see what the developers at RIM will come up with in the next couple of quarters. We shall see.
